Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: July 22, 2026

Urban Rituals is reader-supported. We want to be completely upfront about how that works.

The short version

Some of the links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a small commission — at no additional cost to you. You pay the same price you would otherwise; the retailer shares a portion of the sale with us.

What this looks like in practice

When we recommend a product — in a review, a best-of guide, or elsewhere — we often link to a retailer where you can buy it, such as our Pomp storefront or another partner. Where a link is an affiliate link, we mark it clearly (for example, "affiliate link — we may earn a commission") near the link itself, in addition to this page.

Our promise: recommendations first, commissions second

Earning a commission never changes what we recommend or how we rank it. Every product is evaluated on its own merits, on real skin, by a licensed practitioner — the same standards described in our Methodology. Specifically:

  • We only recommend products we have tested and would use on our own clients.
  • No brand can pay for a placement, a positive review, or a higher score.
  • If a product isn't worth your money, we say so — affiliate link or not.

Prices and availability

Prices, promotions, and availability shown on this site can change, and the retailer's listing is always the source of truth at the time of purchase. Please confirm the current price and details on the retailer's page before you buy.

Honesty about how content is created

Our reviews reflect the genuine opinions and hands-on experience of Urban Rituals. If we ever use AI tools to assist in producing content, any material that is AI-generated will be identified as such, and AI is never used to fabricate reviews, results, or testimonials.
