Welcome to Urban Rituals. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of urbanrituals.love (the "Site") and its content. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
The Site is operated by Urban Rituals, based in San Diego, California ("Urban Rituals," "we," "us," or "our").
1. What the Site is
The Site provides editorial content, including skincare and wellness articles, product reviews, best-of guides, and brand reviews, along with information about our in-person services. In-person treatments are booked and governed separately through our scheduling provider and any consent or intake forms provided at the time of service; these Terms cover your use of the Site itself.

The content on this Site is for general informational and educational purposes only and is not medical, dermatological, or professional advice. It is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare or licensed skincare professional. Skincare results vary from person to person, and a product or practice that works for one person may not work — or may cause a reaction — for another. Always patch-test new products, read manufacturer instructions and warnings, and consult a qualified professional before starting any new treatment, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, or have a medical condition. Never disregard professional advice because of something you read here.

4. Accuracy, opinions, and third parties
We aim for accuracy, but content is provided "as is" and may contain errors or become out of date. Reviews reflect our genuine opinions. All content on the Site — text, images, logos, reviews, and design — is owned by or licensed to Urban Rituals and protected by law. You agree not to: use the Site unlawfully; interfere with or disrupt the Site or its security; attempt unauthorized access; scrape or harvest content or data except as expressly permitted; or misrepresent your identity. Automated systems and AI agents that access the Site do so subject to these Terms and any machine-readable restrictions we publish (such as robots directives).
7. Submissions
If you send us messages, feedback, or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it to operate and improve our business. Do not send us confidential information or sensitive personal or health information through the Site.
8. AI features and agentic commerce
We may offer AI-powered features, including chat assistants, educational tools, and shopping assistants that can research products or help you complete purchases ("AI Features").
You acknowledge and agree that:
- AI output is not advice. Responses from AI Features are generated by automated, probabilistic systems, may be incomplete or inaccurate, and are not medical, professional, or financial advice. Verify important information before relying on it.
- Third-party models. AI Features may rely on third-party AI providers whose behavior and performance we do not control, and we make no warranty as to their output.
- Authorization and transactions. If an AI Feature can act on your behalf — for example, to add items to a cart or initiate a purchase — it will act only within the authorization you provide, and any resulting transaction is completed by the relevant retailer or payment provider under their terms. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming actions you authorize, and for transactions made through your authorization.
- Guardrails and override. You may stop, decline, or override an AI Feature's suggested actions. We may impose limits, guardrails, and logging on AI Features to keep them safe and reliable.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from your reliance on AI output or from transactions you authorize through AI Features.
9. Disclaimers
THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, URBAN RITUALS AND ITS OWNER WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE, ITS CONTENT, OR PRODUCTS PURCHASED THROUGH IT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED [USD $100 / the amount you paid us, if any].
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Urban Rituals from claims arising out of your use of the Site or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction. 13. Changes

14. Miscellaneous
If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Affiliate Disclosure, are the entire agreement between you and Urban Rituals regarding the Site.
